Lake Superior Adult Day Services

Adult Day Services is a program of Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice that offers participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful social and recreational activities, in a safe and nurturing environment.

The program offers caregivers respite and support while the participants maintain their social and cognitive abilities.

Our program is specifically designed and planned to meet the needs of those with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. We have a fully trained, patient and caring staff who strive to enhance the abilities of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and encourage their independence in activities.

All of our activities are designed to engage each person as much as they are able and interested. Group and individual activities are always available and provided.

We also have visits from children, musicians and friendly pets.

  • Game Day and Holiday Parties
  • Jigsaw Puzzles
  • Trips Around Town on Foot, Wheel or by Bus
  • Arts and Crafts

  • Tai Chi
  • Exercise
  • Bingo
  • Table Volleyball
  • Birthday Parties
  • Volunteer Projects (UPAWs animal treats, cookies for Room at the Inn, etc)
  • Special Events

  • The elderly who are isolated and lonely
  • People living in assisted living facilities

How to Enroll

  1. For more information or to schedule a visit, contact us by email or phone: (906) 225-7760.
  2. If you decide you want to participate, we can schedule an intake and assessment interview with the caregiver and/or participant.
  3. Staff will work with your family to determine a successful experience for the participant. Caregivers are welcome to stay until they feel comfortable leaving their loved one in our care.
